Took Her To San Francisco
com. It helps develop strength, flexibility, stamina, neuromuscular coordination
and a variety of motor skills and of course adds style and grace to ones
personality like any form of dance would do. Earlier, this art form was only
used as a performance act, but today it has gained popularity as a dance and a
fitness workout.Recently, I was invited to judge an Aerial silk championship, at
first I was hesitant to give my nod for it because I was not sure what a Latin
and Ballroom like me would do as a jury for Aerial silk competition, but on
insistence of my dear friend actress Smilly Suri, I agreed for the same and I am
glad and thankful to Smilly for persuading me go say a yes for the same, because
it was an evening that has left some wonderful memories in my heart.
Speed is of
key importance. It is performed without a harness and one needs to rely on
his/her own strength and skill. Hence, when I begin to train in silk I had to
relearn everything. I always came first. In Mallakhamb we have to perform 20
elements in 1min 30 sec and hold positions for a few seconds. The variety of
moves, drops, wraps, twists and turns are practically endless and create an
ever-intriguing challenge. I played almost 10 district, state and national
championships and achieved numerous Gold, silver and bronze medals. And then, due
to personal reasons, I got an opportunity to visit USA, for a duration of 3
months.
Sandip Soparrkar is a well known Ballroom dancer and a Bollywood
choreographer who has been honoured with two National Achievement Award and one
National Excellence Award by the Govt of India.
Aerial Silk, also known as tissue
or fabric is one of the newest, yet most awe inspiring and versatile art
form. The championship was organised by the affable Aditi Deshpande. That got me
excited. Aditi has trained aerial enthusiasts from Germany, UK, United States of
America and Mauritius. Having learnt ‘Rope’ from the age of 5 under the guidance
of the respected guru, none other than her father Uday Vishwanath Deshpande
while taking inspiration from her mother’s artistic background, Aditi
passionately pursued her career in the field of Aerial Arts. She has been
teaching ‘Rope Mallakhamb’ for over 15 years and ‘Aerial Silk’ for 4 years at
Shri Samarth Vyayam Mandir, Dadar.
Nothing was challenging or exciting me.Rope
and silk being similar what is more difficult and challenging out of the
two?Yes, it is similar with respect to the skill set required, but very
different in terms of the sport. This super flexible artist is the founder of
Fly High Aerial Art, who is a trained gymnast and professional Mallakhamb
performer. He can be contacted on sandipsoparrkar06@gmail. I even tried my hand
at working in a bank but was not satisfied as I am not suited to a desk job of
9-5. I enrolled and trained for 3 months and found my new passion which is
similar to what I always did. It gives a completely different adrenaline rush as
you are performing all the moments in the air and against gravity. Mallakhamb
also Nonwoven
Machine-made Bags suppliers gave me lovely experiences to travel the world
and teach students abroad. Since I had so much free time there, I chanced upon
finding classes for aerial silk. She has also trained Bollywood Diva the
sensational Sushmita Sen, Smilly Suri and many more.
She does have a few
international performances under her belt in addition to being a winner of 20
Gold, 15 Silver and 10 Bronze Medals in District, State and National level
Championship with the most prestigious state level award, Shri Shiva Chatrapati
Award in her cabinet all at the age of 21. Her thirst for learning and further
improvising on her skills took her to San Francisco to further evolve as an
Aerial Silk instructor. However, after reaching my goal of receiving the
Chatrapati award, I needed something else to motivate and energize me. Since
then, there was no looking back. Mallakhamb further helped me to be the best in
all the other sports, to name a few, are running, high jump, long jump etc. And
since then my journey began to achieve it.

Started Following The Demolition
Senior advocates Kapil Sibal, Anoop George Chaudhari, Rajeev Dhavan and Sushil
Jain will represent other parties including All India Sunni Waqf Board and
Nirmohi Akhara.New Delhi: The Supreme Court on Tuesday will commence the final
hearings in the long-standing Ayodhya dispute, which started following the
demolition of Babri Masjid that triggered massive riots in various parts of the
country resulting in the deaths of hundreds of people. Citing this, Hindu
zealots brought down the mosque on December 6, 1992.77-acre disputed site.A sect
of Muslims, under the banner of Shia Central Waqf Board of Uttar Pradesh, had
earlier approached the court offering a solution that a mosque could be built in
a Muslim- dominated area at a "reasonable distance" from the disputed site in
Ayodhya. The stakeholders in the case had moved the apex court after the
Allahabad High Court directed the Sunni Waqf Board, the Nirmohi Akhara and the
Lord Ram Lalla to settle for a three-way division of the 2.
A three-judge bench
of the Allahabad High Hourt, in a 2:1 majority ruling, had said the land be
partitioned equally among three parties -- the Sunni Waqf Board, the Nirmohi
Akhara and Ram Lalla.Meanwhile, on Tuesday, a Delhi court will deliver its
verdict Antimicrobial
non-woven fabric suppliers in connection with the terrorist attack on the
makeshift Ram Temple in Ayodhya in 2005. The Babri Masjid was built by Mughal
emperor Babur in Ayodhya in 1528.The Hindus, however, claim that a Ram temple
that originally stood there was demolished to construct the mosque. BJP leader
Subramanian Swamy, an intervenor in the matter, had attempted to raise the issue
of fundamental right of religion of the Hindus under Article 25 of the
Constitution. In pursuance to the apex courts earlier direction, the Yogi
Adityanath government has submitted English translation of exhibits and
documents likely to be relied upon, as these were in eight different
languages.Recently a group of civil rights activists also moved the apex court
seeking intervention in the Ayodhya dispute and urged it to consider the issue
saying it is not just a dispute over property but has several other aspects
which would have far-reaching effects on the "secular fabric of the country".
A
specially constituted bench of Chief Justice Dipak Misra and Justices Ashok
Bhushan and Abdul Nazeer will be hearing a total of 13 appeals filed against the
2010 judgement of the Allahabad High Court in four civil suits. The top court
had on August 11 asked the UP government to complete within 10 weeks the
translation of the evidence recorded for adjudication of the title dispute in
the high court..The first hearing is set a day before the 25th anniversary of
the demolition of medieval-era mosque. However, its intervention was opposed by
the All India Sunni Waqf Board which had claimed that judicial adjudication
between the two sects had already been done in 1946 by declaring the mosque as
one which belongs to the Sunnis. It had said it would not allow the matter to
take any shape other than the civil appeals and would adopt the same procedure
as was done by the high court. A battery of high profile lawyers including
senior advocates K Parasaran and C S Vaidyanathan and advocate Saurabh Shamsheri
will appear for Lord Ram Lalla, the deity, and Additional Solicitor General
Tushar Mehta will represent the Uttar Pradesh government. Many of the original
plantiffs and defendants in the matter including Mohd Hashim, who was the first
person to take the matter to the apex court, have died.

Face To Face Discussions
Another step toward social depersonalisation. Yet, smart phones and social media
has created a dystopia that while connecting the fancy free, socially exuberant
social avatars, is also creating a long term disconnect. So, be it tech
executive Naina Lokhani, who prefers to talk and have face to face discussions
at work because otherwise everything gets swept under the data carpet or
Sandalwood superstar Shivarajkumar who has chosen to stay away from social
media, there is a palpable "going back to our roots†and putting the digital
revolution on the backburner.
Ek insaan jab akela hota hai woh tab hi insaan
banta hai (an individual who is alone with himself becomes a human). We create
technology, and then technology recreates us. The solution isn’t a blanket ban.
The third is to work on the enhancement of communication in school, at home or
office. Then came the printing press. There has been a sea change in how we
communicate. The dehumanising of human society is imminent.
So, what are we
teaching the young?Nicole FariaWhen Bots took over Facebook recently.. Yes, AI
and technology have aided leaps of progress, but on the flip side lies China
Flame-retardant nonwoven fabric manufacturers an ugly and incomprehendable
animal whose ability is dictated by swiping left or right, without parlay. We
are always connected but never with any real connections.â€Samita RathoreYoga
guru Bharat Thakur is concerned about this use of technology. Technology is
miraculous, but it makes our lives a hectic clockwork that ignores human
biology.
If you don’t feel at home in your body, you will never feel at home in
the world.According to recent reports, young technologists are weaning
themselves off their own products in Silicon Valley, and even ensuring their
children are sent to elite schools where iPhones, iPads and laptops are banned.
The larger disconnect is ensconcing itself into the fabric of society that
dwells on likes and shares — where good ol’ hellos are defunct. We are far more
interested in what is happening in cyberspace than right here, right now. It
consists of 20 items that measures mild, moderate and severe level of Internet
Addiction, and along with Facebook Intensity questionnaire is used to measure
Facebook usage beyond simple measures of frequency and duration. I don’t think
the rapid depersonalisation of human interaction today is something new.â€Centers
for Technology Addiction in India:Service for healthy use of technology clinic
(SHUT) set up by National Institute of Mental Health and Neurosciences (NIMHANS)
in April 2004. Technology is a boon but anything in excess is harmful. If we can
be mature about it, and remember that we have been given hands and legs to walk
on earth, then it’s not as bad.
Why convey something and later hide behind
social media? I even think, it is not safe.Heart to heartGrounded in a
self-belief of human interactions, Dr Shivarajkumar says, "As an actor, I am
confident about interacting directly. But you and I did manage to find a
balance. Billions of people who are not just unemployed, but unemployable.. A
balance is essential. As an actor too, it is not necessary.
